Many of the established companies continued to flourish and new Art Deco and modern designs appeared. Wedgwood's Fairyland lustre, Royal Doulton figures & toby jugs, Shelley, Moorcroft and Clarisse Cliff are all examples of creative ceramic artists as well as the later Poole pottery and the cottage patterns known as Chintz.
