From 1812 to 1880 the Bettignies family made porcelain at Saint-Amand-les-Eaux.

They produced a soft paste body based on the 18th century formula from Sevres firing the items and using suspension holes in the old Sevres manner.

These pieces were decorated in imitation of Sevres and marked with the Sevres double "L"

The body of the porcelain is thicker than Sevres and the glaze is whiter.

Wares were also sold in the white and decorated in Paris.
