A deep vibrant blue, with a parrot border.The scene shows a rural landscape with two riders on horseback hunting hares with two greyhounds.

Taken from a print by Howitt 1798, reissued in 1815 by Edward Orme. The two greyhounds were called Czarina and Maria.

This dish is from a series of hunting prints printed on dinner wares. Unknown maker. Mark "W" in blue on base.
