Decorated in the Etruscan style with a Greek key border and Sphinx medallions on a vermicelli background.
Sepia brown rim.


Lid has been broken in two and restored.
Chip to footrim.

Also known as a relish dish.

Center covered container could be for sauce or butter.

The white marks and streaks are reflections of light not cracks or damage.
