PIERCED CHESTNUT BASKET AND STAND.
"Blue Canton" pattern
The basket is 9-1/4 inches long and the stand is 10 inches.

Both handpainted with a coastal village scene showing a tea house, a boat, a bridge, houses and islands. Rain and Cloud border.
The color of the stand is slighly paler than the basket. With the typical heavily potted body with an "Orange peel" surface and unglazed footrims.

Unmarked. Condition is very good with some very minor flaws on glaze inside the basket.
